AMS builds on more than twenty years of hands-on industrial automation experience, from engineering and software development through testing and commissioning. Projects have covered special-purpose machines, production lines and process installations in sectors including automotive, metals, chemicals, food production and water treatment.

This field experience supports a complete project view: process operation, electrical and control architecture, operator interaction, maintenance requirements and the practical realities of starting up equipment on site.

• HMI / SCADA: WinCC, WinCC in TIA Portal and WinCC Unified
• Drives: SINAMICS, variable speed drives and motion control
• Industrial networks: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus TCP/RTU, CANopen and industrial Ethernet depending on the project
• Schneider Electric: complementary experience with Modicon PLCs, Control Expert and Vijeo environments
• On site: FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, ramp-up and operator or maintenance training

A practical project methodology

Each project starts with the machine or process requirement and its operating constraints. The next steps cover control architecture, interfaces with other equipment, PLC/HMI development, testing and commissioning. Backups and technical documentation are included so that the installation remains maintainable after handover.

Based in Lyon, working in France and internationally

AMS is located in Vaulx-en-Velin, in the Lyon metropolitan area. Engineering can be performed from the office or remotely, while testing and commissioning are carried out on site as required, throughout France and internationally.
